Research Paper on Global Warming and Climate Change Topics

Research Paper on Global Warming and Climate Change TopicsWhile studying for your graduate or doctoral degree in the life sciences, there are many of these research papers you'll have to complete to prepare yourself to understand the topics as well as being able to talk intelligently about these subjects with others. As a doctoral student, I was fortunate to work with an academic adviser who encouraged me to think more deeply about the topic of global warming and climate change, while also allowing me to expand my theoretical skills. Here are some of the areas you'll need to learn about, which could help you make a good study or dissertation topic, so you'll be ready for graduate school.First of all, you'll need to know how climate affects our planet, and the way we actually use resources like energy and water to heat our homes and offices. You can start by learning about global temperatures, because these should be important to you, since you'll need to know how the Earth is respond ing to global warming and climate change. As a PhD student, you'll need to understand the relationship between changing global temperatures and the types of weather and climate changes that occur in our world. The temperature of the planet, its climate and the behavior of the weather can give you a great understanding of how and why it behaves the way it does.To discuss the way humans may not contribute to global warming, you'll also need to know the sources of carbon dioxide and other gases. Most researchers believe that they are coming from the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil. This would mean that if you want to look at global warming and climate change, then you will have to find out how to explain how humans may not affect these gases in the atmosphere. In addition to how humans may not contribute to carbon dioxide, you'll also need to know how the earth's ozone layer works. The chemicals that are emitted from factories and power plants destroy the ozone layer in the Ea rth's atmosphere, which protects us from UV radiation from the sun. If the ozone layer were to completely disappear, it would affect us a great deal, since the UV rays from the sun can burn human skin and cause cancer. This is why it's important to know how these compounds interact with the ozone layer. You'll also need to know how many human activities could produce a future climate scenario that is warmer than the current one. For example, scientists tell us that it is very likely that the average global temperature will rise by two to three degrees Celsius over the next 100 years. If we continue on our current path, this is very possible. One other thing you should learn about the human influence on climate is the large amount of land areas where vegetation is dying off. We tend to associate this situation with global warming, but scientists say that it is largely due to other factors, too. This loss of vegetation could have a big impact on the environment, because these plants pla y a very important role in the process of filtering carbon dioxide out of the air. When there is less of these plants around, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will increase, resulting in global warming. Finally, you'll need to know if climate change is caused by human activity or natural phenomena. Scientists tell us that we are already causing climate change because of what we are doing on a day-to-day basis, such as using fossil fuels to heat our homes and offices. If you want to look at global warming and climate change, then you'll have to do your research about these things so you can explain how human activities are affecting the Earth's environment.
